|
|
I recently purchased 3 large oxygen units
from "Beyond The Blue" on Chodaku.
Cost per unit $5000
The notice in the counter states that they
are rated at 900 seconds each.
Not knowing if they came pre-filled or not
(when I looked at "My Unit" it said
"You see nothing unusual.""or something like that.
Nothing about how full it was.)
I attempted to refill my unit.
the message I got was something about
"It would cost you -660 to refill your unit"
"yes/no"
I didnt notice the minus sign till after having
done this to all 3 units I then noticed that
my bank balance had increased by $1980
(660 x 3 = 1980)
So I assume it removed 660 units of air
from each unit and paid me for it.
When I got to Jareya and Dove from the cliff
with my unit on my back, I was not able to stay
down any longer than without an oxygen unit.
I dove three times, each time with a fresh unit
and they all read as empty when I finished.
I returned to Chodaku and refilled the units,
but it would only put 240 seconds in each unit.
Am I doing something wrong or do these units not work?
Also is there any chance of you adjusting the difficulty
for climbing the cliff ? It took me 20 minutes to climb it. _________________ Traythyn Darkwater

Your climbing skill could be triple what it is right now. Perhaps divert some points to it when you get them? _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Thank you for reporting it, Trathyn.
I'll take a look at the cliff, but I'm not promising anything.

You Folks are Great! Its so nice to have a staff
that acctually responds...
I dont know if you tweaked the cliff, but it did seem to be a little easier.
Average time now is 7 minutes to climb.
Does climb skill really matter, cause other night players with zero climb
were climbing as fast as I was ?
I have 14 (16) in climb. Dont want to spend points there if I dont need to.
I was already on the cliff when ya fixed the oxygen units so I went
ahead and dove with them aprtially filled.
I did notice that my meter was reading 240 of 900, instead of full, so
I knew ya had fixed them.
Also, does time pass faster in Healrahv, because it seemed my tanks
were using up they time at a rate of approx 2:1 ?
Here is a short log to demonstrate
Code: |
The meter indicates 180 of 900 seconds remaining.
You dig around and come up with a thorny white oyster shell with beige speckles.
Roundtime: 14 sec.
You put a thorny white oyster shell with beige speckles in a large netted oyster bag.
The meter indicates 150 of 900 seconds remaining.
You dig around and come up with a smooth black oyster shell with a reflective surface.

I look forward to going back with 900 in my tanks, I wanted to make this post first to thank you for fixing them.
Its definatly worth the climb now.
Thanx for all ya hard work ! _________________ Traythyn Darkwater

Climbing skill does matter. There is a threshhold before you will really notice a difference, but it really does matter. All of your climbing is from the core skill you have, I think we both really agree that it would be a Trackerly thing to do to train it at least a little. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
