Like the inn at the Vale. Yeah, that'd be pretty cool. _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

Will we be able to have 'cave' terrain? Maybe not to mine, but to find things like londrum in? _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

In Haelrahv's mechanics, there is no cave terrain. You won't be able to forage or mine inside a home only in lawn areas which are outdoor, so any similarity to cave areas is out. For HR's purposes, what you can find in cavernous spaces is based on the area being inside, and sometimes also factors rock level content, presence of water, darkness levels and perhaps altitude. Mining is specifically seeded as desired rather than being controlled by terrain like foraging is. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

I'm suddenly reminded of living in Leadville, Colorado. Most of the houses that I saw there had unfinished basements with holes and short tunnels dug into the walls as people hoped to get lucky and find veins of silver. _________________ Stay true to yourself no matter the cost and you'll always know who you are. |

Seriously, you only announced that you were starting on it two weeks ago and I'm bursting in anticipation while waiting. I HAD for two seconds posted a very whiny little bit about wanting housing, and for anyone that read it, I'm very sorry for the whine content. _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

Perhaps we should have a voice activated gadget to attach to the door? It can be reset by the owner. I was thinking retina scan but then not sure if cyberware would interfere with that, same with fingerprints. Only thing that would remain would be vocal chords for those who have implants. _________________ Sainji & Mina |

- Hide outside the door
- Record their voice
- Play it back later when they're not around

Furniture suggestion:
Because we can 'hide' the furniture so it's only visible in the room desc, could there be a few just generic pieces of furniture? For instance:
"...a giant white couch with fluffy pillows sits in the corner..."
It might be hard to find exactly that...so instead, you can buy just 'a couch.'
"...an intricately carved jalumin dining table..." is in the desc. But I can just put something on 'a table.' _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage
