About Haelrahv
|
Haelrahv is a world of mystery. Its atmosphere is in many ways like other worlds known to support life, such as Earth. It is assumed to be greatly covered in vast seas, but little can be verified due to Death's Shroud also simply known as "the fog", which envelops much of the planet. It is unknown to what degree the areas within Death's Shroud are inhabited.
It is a widely held belief that gods once walked the surface of the world, and that their departure has something to do with the fog. The only records that exist of that time period are simple oral traditions.
The known world is divided into two primary continents, and much of the inhabited world also includes islands that range from large masses to chains of smaller bodies. The geography is diverse, with arid deserts and lush forests appearing within relatively close proximity in some regions. The seas of Haelrahv are abundant with life, though they have been heavily fished since the origins of known life.
