Death's Shroud

The world of Haelrahv is a large, mostly unknown place. It is shrouded in a deep fog, that some believe spans back to the days when the terrible Ilafai himself walked the soil. While it is unknown what link this mysterious fog has with Ilafai or the other gods, we know that much of the world lies out of our reach - unseen, but not unheard.
Tales of misfortune and tragedy spread from frontier regions near the fog. Screams of those who dare enter it pierce the veil of mystery to terrorize those who would trespass its boundaries. Whether the fog is a lair for the most terrible of fiendish beings or simply magic capable of undoing reality as we know it, no man has ever been known to survive a trek into it.
But now, a new threat arrives: The fog is beginning to thin and fade.
