Choosing to be a Technician Whether you come to Haelrahv as a Technician or decide to become one after your arrival (i.e. reallocation), there are a few things you should consider before diving headfirst into the profession. Take a few moments to read through these guidelines. The information contained herein may save you from making initial mistakes that could cost you a lot of time and effort to repair later in your career. Comparing Racial Statistics The most important statistics for a Technician are Coordination and Intelligence, to help you repair and install electronic devices and cybernetics. Charisma is also important if you wish to have cyberware implanted. This guide assumes you have already progressed through the character generation system and chosen “Technician” as your profession. This guide does not make any assumptions on what race you have chosen, nor will we recommend one race over another. Review individual racial statistics on the Haelrahv website to determine which race feels right for you. Arriving in Haelrahv You will leave the character generation system and enter the world of Haelrahv in Cloud Court. Cloud Court is located in the center of the city of Llanfair, on Llanfair Island. It is a popular gathering place for young and old characters alike, therefore you will probably see at least one or two people in the room with you when you arrive.
