> NOW ACCESSING 'ROBOTIC ASSISTANTS: MAD DROIDS'... > ... MAD stands for Massive Armored Droid. Yes, in the future, these 12 foot behemoths will be fighting side by side with you. MADs can only be found in the Vale, the Royal Family's Training Grounds. In order to get in, you'll need to do errands for citizens. Please click the word 'Vale' for more details. MADs can only be purchased from the tech shop inside the Vale. You must be at least 15th promotion to get one (and trust me, this was put in after I got one at 6th promotion and couldn't install anything). MADs come completely gutted. You must buy everything for them, including CPUs, coolant systems, batteries, ETC. Because you can only have one robotic assistant active at a time, remember that to purchase or play with your MAD, you have to put your drone away first at the warehouse by the Cyber Clinic. INSPECTing your MAD will tell you what you have installed and what you have not. I suggest you buy the cheapest and easiest of each item first and go from there. If you can't get your MAD up and running, it's stuck there until you do MORE errands to go back and try again. Remember to ACTIVATE your MAD! If you DEACTIVATE it, it can not return to you when you call! MADs can hold 50lbs of weight in their compartment or hand. This can be VERY useful when hunting or playing delivery guy for friends (if you have the GPS uplink installed). Everything you have your droid STOW into its compartment will stay there, even if you log out. You don't have to worry about it! Learn to use your MAD's commands. This can be done by typing COMMAND DROID HELP. You can find out what modes a droid can go into by typing COMMAND DROID TO MODE. Remember, droid combat isn't up and running yet!
