Alot of stuff has been released, and nobody likes a syntax puzzle, so though I may miss a couple, here's the commands...

<cut limb to (block/branch/stick/twig)>
<cut branch to (stick/twig)>
<cut stick to twig>

<trim limb to staff>
<trim staff>
<trim staff to quarterstaff>
<trim quarterstaff>
<trim branch to club>
<trim club>
<trim twig to rod>

<carve staff to longbow>
<carve club to shortbow>
<carve (shortbow/longbow)>
<flex (shortbow/longbow)>
<tiller (shortbow/longbow) on (upper/lower)>
<string (shortbow/longbow)>

<whittle block to (vial, bowl, pipe, ring, pendant, figurine, amulet, statuette, plaque, hairbeads, mortar, pestle)>

Note: A knife is required for some actions, while anything sharp will work for others. Also, some commands are particular about spelling out the words completely.

Some of the trees whose wood you can carve ARE located around the city. If you look you can likely figure out what many of them look like. For instance, there is a nearly full grown gaoun tree at the Jaddan Temple and theres a saifbraelsh (sp?) tree outside the gates.

Silbein: Very tough, resilient tree that bears shades of red leaves year round. Bark is white.

Grom: This is actually a sort of a monster... the tree is sentient and will attack passersby. No info is recorded on color, I always assumed dark.

Haelieo: Larger tree, scarlet bark with ebony wood beneath. Has green leaves and lavendar bloons and fleshy yellow fruit similar to apples. The outer bark has a vanilla scent.

Jalumin: Tree with gnarled, tangled roots. Branches look like spiny fingers and bear a fruit that is not edible but sheds a soft bluish light for a period of time. The fruit explodes if dropped while still active, emitting a foul smell. This tree, oddly, has no leaves.

Gaoun: Very tall tree, russet bark with soft wood with a velvety texture. Leaves more resemble a fern than leaves, pale green with a silver underside. Bright yellow trillium flowers and silvery-green seed pods. The seeds can be crushed and boiled to produce a black drink with a subtle popcorn aroma.

Saifbraelsh: Absolutely enormous tree. Golden bark with mottled silver marks. Inner wood is dark golden in color. Has blue-green oval leaves which can be up to 2 feet long, 1 foot wide. Magenta flowers with blue centers and large ball fruit. The fruit has a hard shell that contains a creamy white liquid that can be fermented to make an alcoholic drink, Saifbrule.

Aefafe: a.k.a. Flamewood tree. The trees excude instense heat, especially the trunk. Leaves and branches generate a lesser but very dangerous amount. After separation from the tree itself, branches and leaves cool after several hours and turn a dulled copper hue.

Do you think Inaiw might be added to the list of carvables?

As far as I can tell they are all wooden fencing sticks....so it wouldn't be much different from the quarter staffs we can already carve, except one handed.
