Just to clarify: what's wrong with skinning? You're making more money from it than ever.

I've asked if we could have a meeting to let us know what's in store for Trackers but you said no, you're too busy. |
I never said that. I've always said that the reason for not holding meetings is because we don't have the time/resources to run out there and do the suggested updates and my concern is your ideas going to waste as they are lost by forgetfulness, etc. Holding a meeting when you know you won't be able to implement the suggestions soon seemed counter productive.
I always have time for all Haelrahv players. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Sounds to me like you guys need to play Horizon's for a few months so that you know what a value Trevor is. They never answered any questions. They never seemed to take care of fixing things. When they did fix things they made it worse. I see more improvement in this game in a week (which is in beta) than I saw in Horizon's in three months of paid play of a public release game. Sure they held meetings and made promises. <chuckles> I have way more respect for Trevor, his staff and everything that they do than any other game I have played. It is a bit like the early Mythic team for Dark Age of Camelot and I hope that it only gets better.
Now, I am not saying that your class is perfect. I am saying that I believe that Trevor and the other GM's will be getting around to everyone. _________________ Tiena Rhyker |

I've heard that about Horizons. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Gerrard, yes we're still in a test phase and from what i remember when I started playing is that GMs and players interacted with each other to get feedback from us to make this game better. _________________ Lick or Be Licked |

Well, there's a difference between too busy for a meeting, and too busy to make the meeting be meaningful.
Edit: I can't find where Trevor said that, so sorry if we're not talking about the same thing. |

I don't play a game to sit and wait for new things to be implimented. I choose the right profession for me and play it. |
Absolutely excellent point. If I played a game simply to wait for new things to come out, I'd absolutely never be happy. Then again, a lot of people never ARE happy.

Meetings aren't necessary. So you get to discuss what's in store and get all exited about it, just to be left waiting and wondering when. |
I, for one, LOVE surprises. I love it when something new comes out that I never even heard of before. It just happens. Boom. New thing. No warning. No talk of development. Tada! That makes me a happy person.

I've thought that too. We're just testing everything! I mean, we're lucky they're letting us have experience! They should start us all back at zero and start again....but that's just my opinion. |

Do you remember that ability to find our ways thru mazes? I tried it several times, it was very useless and time consuming. |
As the developer of that useless, time-consuming ability, I'm curious why you find it so. _________________ Mickey Brunner

Would you rather him hold a meeting where he hears your ideas and tells you each time that it's a good idea but not possible currently due to time or system constraints, or would you rather him keep doing things like coding.
Seriously, which do you prefer? The former seems to have no produtive value at all. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!
