I went with Materialization because it seems to have the most utility spells along with most of the more "direct damage" psi abilities. Psychic Path does have some nice stat modifiers in there, and Perception has more combat-related things, but Materialization has Levitation.. which is going to save my Psionic from having to spend too many points in Swimming and Climbing.

We may work in hydrokinetics in such a manner that casting it on yourself or on a body of water may assist in crossing water as well.

I was wondering just what Hydrokinetics was going to do. Finding water would be useful if you implement some kind of required food and drink system (as I think Everquest has.. could be wrong), or finding places to swim for experience, but other than that.. I don't know.
Along with easing the crossing of water, I'd allow it to also help in purifying water for Alchemical mixtures (if such is required). Without the ability, you'd have to boil the water.. or something.. for a certain amount of time. Hydrokinetics could take care of that in one fell swoop -- even with a slight time between casting and the desired effect to come out, it's still good.

Thanks for the suggestion.  Food and drink will be required, more or less, but not in such amounts that it will be hard or expensive to obtain.

It was a tough decision between the Materialization and Psychic paths for me, but I ultimately went with Materialization due to the combination of the many combat abiliies and the Instant Recall ability. Though, I do think that Telepathy is a very Psionic-oriented thing as well.

well i'm new here but I couldn't really choose just one, as my character will show, I use them all and really have no straight path. I mix an match accordingly each path have too many good points.
