I'd be interested in hearing any of the ideas you guys have for Psionic Powers if you have any in mind yet.  I'd suggest some that I'd like to see, but I can't think of anything trully creative right now.  I'll be sure to put it here when I find it though!

A few random psi powers from the list: Spontaneous Combustion, Telekinetic Leap, Levitation, See Invisible, Terrorscape, Battle of Wills, Psychic Sight, Spirit Guardian.

I'll let you guess what they do. Wink

There are 67 psionic abilities.

I'm a little daft so I'm wondering what a telekinetic leap is.  As far as I knew, telekinetics was moving objects... but leaping sounds like something a person would do.

Telekenetic Leap makes it easier for the psionic to jump or climb, by a limited form of levitation.

Maybe.  There's a magic spell to get out of melee quick, well aside from the prep time.

I just wanna whack someone with a nearby (light) object without moving. I'm assuming that can be done?

That or just start bludgeoning them with my mind.

Yep, there is such an ability. Wink More than one, even.

[PM009 - Telekinetic Strike]

Prerequisite Abilities:

Occult Lore Skill: None

Ability Description: This ability will hurl a number of nearby objects at the target with great force.


[PM010 - Telekinetic Swarm]

Prerequisite Abilities: PM009

Occult Lore Skill: None

Ability Description: This ability will hurl a number of nearby objects at a number of targets with great force.


And, kinda similar but different:

[PM008 - Telekinetic Leap]

Prerequisite Abilities:

Occult Lore Skill: None

Ability Description: This telekinetic power assists the psionic in climbing or leaping.

I think I've really confused myself -- which isn't hard to do in the first place lately, but that's beside the point.

I remember reading that the Psionic Class will have Four Circles in which to study, right? And then those of non-Psionic Class could study within three of those circles, the fourth being special to only Psionics, right?

Well. Since the godly Alteri are obviously naturally bred for Psionics, would they be able to get that Fourth Circle (the Guardian Spirit Summoning, I think..) no matter which class they choose... or atleast have a few of the "baby abilities" within it? Confused

Oi. Fun.. times.

Nope, sorry. Wink Only psionics get the drawing path.. kinda like how only Techs get droids, and so on. <grin>

well here goes if some are already there, just ignore mine:)

1) molecular manipulation: helps with alchemy, change densites lighter/heavier as well. helps change gas to liquids to solids etc, as well as quicker in combining things.

2) molecular agitation: think this one would be a lighter version of instantenous combustion. use for heating things up or cooling them off, ie
lower level/skills only could agitate paper/leaf can move the molecules faster slower depending on if you want them hotter to start fire, or cooler.
higher level/skills you can effect different materials oops almost forgot this could also if targeted on critter pvp etc cause at most a heavy sunburn perhaps to blisters at most.

3) armored skin or somethin:) : low level/skills can toughen your skin to bark type armor. types of armor different level/skills bark, leather/hide, scale/bone, rock, iron. each type of armor would protect better for certain types of attacks (of course:) ) as you gain level/skills an have more choices you can choose which one to use, ie may be able to do rock but you choose scale for the hunt your doing.

4) weapon meld or something: you change part of your body, hand/arm into a weapon could only be a melee type, ie edge(sword), blunt (hammer) etc

5) chameleon: well you know Smile change colors to help hiding if standing perfectly still very hard to see you if movin easier to see you till color changes to background

ok just few off top of my head I was thinking about last night, go head tear em apart:)
