Code:
[11.03.07] The Wiv Festival is now open!! There is a portal located
on the Isle of Mist, in the Aelon Tundra. The portal and shops will
remain open all weekend and several merchants will be visiting!

some highlights include a snowball fighting arena, weapon alterer, a silent auction (can we have a vocal auction too?! Very Happy), a skating rink, and much much more.

The RP is grand too. Nithak's conversations with Seth, what I seen of Denavae and Bryanne. All the interaction. It's awesome.

Big kudos and thanks to the GMs who put this together and took time to rp with us as well.

You seem to forget you are messing with a coder. One day Xavain is going to snog or grope Hannah and melt into a puddle of goo, literally.

Big huge thanks to everyone who worked on creating this festival for us. It's been really fun so far and I appreciate that you took the time to introduce the new houses in a really interesting way and give us some merchants and fun activities to boot!

I was scared to death everyone would leave once the last snowdrift dropped so I added a line to the code about the door. All of those there deserve recognition for noticing there was something not quite right, as well. It would have been too easy to say "Oh, Kyra is just showing off new houses." and leave lol

Thanks for those updates Soundless. I know I have been unlucky with my timing so far in running into Brian, but hoping to stumble into him sometime.

What happened with the snowdrifts and unique dying? Any updates on the RP there or what happened would be fun to hear.

I wandered up to the fest but the workers had retired by the time I got there, so after paying 5 credits and waiting in line to get a kiss, I learned it was a bearded woman giving kisses, forfeited my 5 credits and got a sno cone instead.

It was very good, well put together. Sadly I didn't get to go back, but my own schedule was responsible. I was very happy with how it all went, and I loved the concept. I agree, the RP was awesome.

Ummm ... pretty sure it's still open for the rest of the week. At least I'm pretty sure that's what the announcement said.

So look forward to more goodies and more shops!

I think the unique dying was just Hannah messing with Xav, but I could be wrong.

The snowdrifts were outside of the festival in the tundra itself. When people dug them up it revealed the homes were buried under them.

Ahhh, ok. I did pass homes that I thought were new. Been so long since I was out on the tundra I wasn't sure. Thanks Soundless.

Maybe there will be a midnight avalance that Epol can get buried under! ::chuckles::

Speaking of, thanks to some help from a *great* friend, I managed to get the large home. Really love these houses, and glad to be an owner of one of them!
