and not with guns!
it would be fun if there were some kinds of archivers who would ask you for photographs of thing. it can work like the furrier (aka: ask for job, be given a quest thing), but different in the sense that it would give you each job only once, and your mark would never be past what you could be expected to do at your level (although they would still be randomly pulled from the lists of things you could do.)
there could be:
a critter archiver
an epic critter archiver
a location archiver
a person archiver
a society archiver (ie: group shots! group of 3, group of 7, group of 10, etc)
rewards? of course! along with whatever monetary compensation is appropriate, i'd see this more as an excuse for titles and accolades. maybe in the event there is ever some kind of newspaper thing IG (or whatever), your pay rate could go according to how well you've been regarded via the archivers. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I'd been considering a journalism route. The pictures could work very well in that as well. Since things change radically sometimes (and I don't just mean EPIC critters, winemaking and the justice system), we might want to put together documentation of things. Pokemon safari...what!? Money shot of Pikachu?
Seriously. I support this. Just as much as I support Agent quests that have you knocking off local stores >.> _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

Or yanno, because the whole profession is diverse and not necessarily James Bond's wet dream...It could be knocking off local stores. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

it would make sense to defend this concept if the thread had anything to do with it from the start. :/ _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I know that. I was just offering a single idea for a single facet of the profession.

I'm totally for this. When Tyger was into photography, I did this anyway. I had a collection of every critter, and every player in the game at one point. But I had the collection in a cache and the cache was lost, and I lost interest. _________________ >ask librarian about books
