Could somebody tell me how many ranks one would need in order to start repairing things, or making things, or something?? I'm still level 1, and it's taking a while to level, so I was just wondering. _________________ --Delieta |

as far as i know (not much, sorry!), you'll probably want to reach around level 10 before doing anything like that. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Check out Kit's page at http://www.haelrahv.net/players/tech/
There is an ability chart in there that shows some of the basics. Techs can start as early as level one repairing comm chips and it goes up from there.
The only thing I don't think is on his ability chart is level info for gadgets. A lot of it is based on stats rather than levels, so its hard to say, but I started repairing gadget parts around 5th or 6th promotion, but I can't yet put them together to make anything and I'm at 10 now. If you can read and understand the manuals and schematics for them, up to expert level, then you can play with them.

Thanks for the ability chart. Took me like 2 days to find it... But, anyway...yha.. I've learned that I can repair damage to at least my comm integrity chip, which happens to be a low-tech one. Ah well. They break enough that it makes me fix it. Works for me. _________________ --Delieta |

Well, now I have now made my second promotion...but the ability chart on the Thecnician Database is a little vauge. What else can I do at level 2 dealing with tech things?? I know I can't do gadgets yet, because I bought schematics and they're over my head. _________________ --Delieta |

You can hunt chith! Basically, I would look at skills/abilities on a level by level basis. It's a better idea to sum up what you currently can and can't do every 5 levels. Just my opinion. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

Hm, that makes sense. And I will try Chith. Thanks for your help, Seth. _________________ --Delieta |

chith might be hard at level 2, so be careful. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Thanks for the heads up. I know what they're like. I was taken there at level 1. _________________ --Delieta |

You'll be fine at level, only thing to really watch for is the Shrieking Chith [epic]. He's essentially a boss monster. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?
