You retreat from the Modan Kucho and are now at pilum range.

You get a prismatic potion from a black vinyl bodybag marked with "Property of Llanfair Coroner's Office" in white letters.

[Mount Tzon, Kagnoran Glacier]
A brisk wind whips across the surface of the ice, tugging at clothing and biting exposed skin. Keeping one's balance is increasingly hard as the surface of the glacier is far from level, and the wind seems determined to dislodge any riders.
 
You notice exits leading north and west.

You pour a small amount of a prismatic potion onto the ground at your feet.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

The Modan Kucho is no longer around to advance on you.  You feel safer, or something.

You become one with the shadows and disappear from sight.
Roundtime: 1 sec.

A small pool of liquid on the ground begins to bubble and froth, taking on a milky, dark gray appearance as it expands.
Roundtime: 3 sec.

The dark gray ooze on the ground expands dramatically and forms a perfect circle.  Almost instantly, its center becomes as black as a deep void!
You are suddenly sucked through the void-like center!

[You have entered the jurisdiction of the government of Llanfair.]

 
[Llanfair, Cloud Court]
Overlooking the beautiful gardens to the east and west, this large circular balcony surrounded by short ivy-covered walls offers a magnificent view of the surrounding city. Serving as a popular purlieu on sunny afternoons and weekends, civilians gather and enjoy the refreshing treats offered at a small vending cart in the platform's center. Set into the short wall surrounding the balcony is a recessed staircase with several faintly flickering gas lamps lighting the way down.
 
You also see a gigantic trash can, a short wall, a recessed stone staircase set into the wall, a spherical holo-vision projector attached to the wall, an elevator door, a silver streetlamp, a sparkling fountain with a marble base, a bright yellow pavilion with a waving pennant, a titanium donation bin, a large shiny brass bell hanging from a lamppost, a golden tan aiba with dark spots who is sleeping and a MAD droid.
Also here is Medic Garidon Finnin and Dabbler Alimara Finnin who is sitting.
You notice exits leading north, south, and west.

you poured before you felt safe. so you were still panicking.

This was actually a limitation in the engagement system - you were counted as in combat for all purposes until a timed event that runs almost non stop adjusted your engagements if you left a room such as you did.

I've amended this in at least one sense (the sense used by the rifts potion) so that a redundant check will verify the threat is still in the room, not dead, still a valid player or NPC, etc.

This will also affect ASSESS in that you'll immediately show nothing in assess if you leave a room in this manner.
