I've played Kingdom Hearts and KH2 and I loved them so much that I've actually started playing the Final Fantasy games. I'm starting with 10 cause that's the one a friend had and could loan me, I'm having trouble though cause it seems at the beginning that there is very little combat and a lot of incomprehensible dialogue. Not that I can't understand it, but I can't understand it's purpose. I'm sure it will get better but I can't wait to try 7 and 8 as those are the ones I've always heard were best. _________________ End of line.

It was funny...But I couldn't make it past 2:35. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

Double-posting for a reason >.>
I definitely recommend playing all the way through 10.
Of all the final fantasies, I recommend these ones FOR SURE, from beginning to end:
FF7
FF6 (With Terra and Locke and such)
FF2
FF10 _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

It's funny, especially the rabbit part *chuckle* But even that one...Couldn't watch it.
It's probably because I have a short attention span and seen the 9 minute time >.>
But I think the funniest FF7 spoof I ever scene was a reward film for playing some materia catcher game.
It was Cait Sith at the casino, and this guy standing next to him, and he says "You think you can beat me Cait Sith? I'd like to see you try." in some voice that sounded like a crossover between antanio banderes and Armande Essante(sp?). Then Cait Sith roles the dice, and 299999 numbers pop up above everyone's head and they all die. It was hilarious to watch. _________________ Victim: Well, what is the creed?

You're not alone, Katrice. I didn't even know you could play it. Thought it was just some animated movie. |

LOL. Final Fantasy has been around since the late 80's - as a game. A lot of these things have more history than people realize. Nintendo, for instance, has been around and making games since 1889. They were card games and the like at first, mind you.
Final Fantasy trivia fact: There are two variations of the origin of the Final Fantasy name - why the game was named that. The commonly accepted story is that Square was in the red and couldn't afford another title so Final Fantasy was going to be only one game and their final game. This is all true, except the naming was actually for a different reason - the designer who came up with the game's concept was going to retire, and this was his final project.
As we all know, FF and Square prospered to be the most successful title in RPG history and some would say game history period. Ironic, considering the odds. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

I remember when FF came out, I entered the drawing in Nintendo Power and got sent a bright pink fanny pack filled with FF chocolate coins. Those were the days.
Now if only Haidee would send me back my FF7 CD's so I could play the game.... _________________ ** The phrase "break a leg" just wasn't ambitious enough for Mellie Knight. [8:31 pm]
