can't wait for MS to end up licensing a driver that removes that. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Supposedly this will STOP spyware/malware/adware. But it won't. The companies that make these products make millions, so what's a small liscense fee to them? Its the people that make the _free_ products that will suffer. _________________ If there is one thing in the world that I know, love conquers all, it trancends time and space, defies all odds, and can bring you back from the darkness, it is the guiding light that helps bring you in from the rough stormy seas of life, and it remains even after you have gone.

of course, the best way to remove spyware is to not use IE...
not to sound like an "INTERNET EXPLORER IS BILL GATES EVIL SON" fanatic, but things get a lot easier to deal with when you don't use IE. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I find it hilarious at how integrated IE and Windows are. They could fix the world by separating the two completely.

Here's an article about Sony's malicious DRM spyware that's included on a lot of their music CDs now. I guess microsoft Vista MIGHT be useful for making sure this stuff doesn't run. Of course, there's something in herently wrong with an operating system that lets a program run and install things without having to get your permission first. _________________ If there is one thing in the world that I know, love conquers all, it trancends time and space, defies all odds, and can bring you back from the darkness, it is the guiding light that helps bring you in from the rough stormy seas of life, and it remains even after you have gone.

XCP anti-piracy software. Plus, all of those CDs have been recalled since it makes systems vulnerable to hackers and the like. Sony took a big hit for that. _________________ Why use logic when you can just...make stuff up? |
