Aren't awe-inspiring hits supposed to kill the creature automatically?
>Siezing a perfect moment, you fire a masterfully-crafted saifbraelsh longbow at a chith lookout. You land an awe-inspiring hit to her head as a chith lookout fails to dodge the attack.

Roundtime: 1 sec.
I thought that I had heard something about that being one hit kill, but i'm not sure. _________________ "Some people say that I must be a terrible person, but it’s not true. I have the heart of a young boy in a jar on my desk" -Stephen King

The one-hit knockouts (critical kills? I don't know what the correct term for it is) give you completely unique messages. Trust me when I say that you'll know you did something awesome when you see it.

they don't exist for missile weapons, though, which he was using. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Thrown weapons do, although they're only loosely missile weapons.
Speaking of, Frederic never got an opportunity to actually run a list at the last festival. My free time in the immediate future is going to dry up to a near-nonexistent husk, so he may do so before that happens (but that's not set in stone). _________________ Mickey Brunner

That'll sure teach me to read.

Awe-inspiring hits aren't a guaranteed kill - I think it really depends on the creature your character is fighting, the weapon being used, and your character's Perception (see News 16) or Strength (depending on what type of weapon).
For instance (and both of these creatures are way beneath my character Dzynna), she can one-hit kill a vacori but it takes multiple shots to take down a getok hound. Both are level 70, and I'm referring to continuous awe-inspiring hits to the head. Modan Kucho (level 75) it usually takes her two hits.
She uses a max-quality enhanced heavy crossbow from King's Ransom, and this is with 125 Perception (plus she is Darju so night/day doesn't affect her). _________________

Looking forward to it, even I don't have a clue as to what Glim's custom brandish should be.(Moot issue, at this point, since he doesn't have funds for it even if Frederic does come by)
