I don't have skype, I wanted something I could definitely reach ALL of my relatives (including my technologically retarded father) in the US on. Which took me to Net2Phone.
NOTE: I am not saying my father is retarded, he isn't. Just that he has less than zero understanding of computers/internet/anything more complicated than a basic phone or an adding machine.

I was tempted to go with Skype, but then I realized that my cellphone was really much more reliable than my internet connection.
