Life and Renewal potion/poison.

First let me ask. . .tincture of life and potion of renewal. . .they both give HP regen effect. Are they both the same strength? Is the strength of those types dependant on the Alchemists skill? Or is it a set strength no matter who makes it?


With those questions in mind. . .

When Tshar gets poisoned I usually have him drink a life potion for the HP regen effect and that would keep him alive. Recently I tried switching to renewal potion, but I noticed that his health still goes down while on renewal.

The difference in HP regen leads me to believe that when poisoned and after drinking a life potion. . .the damage he's supposed to take from poison. . instead somehow gets added to his life instead of reducing it.

I'm not sure if this is happening, but after looking carefully at the HP meter a few times, it seems to be the case.

Actually, the description for Renewal seems a little confusing. It doesn't regen health, it helps heal wounds naturally, and it increases max HP and SP. It also helps recover a small portion of FP used to cast some spells.

Aside from the possibility Tincture of Life is healing too much, it seems to work properly.
