[09.16.05] Changes have been made to BACKSTAB as follows:
- The cooldown timer before another backstab attempt can be made has been
increased significantly.
- Charisma training now allows faster cooldown recovery.
- Backstab will now teach stealth nskill (very well).
- Experience gained for using backstab has been increased significantly.
- Successful backstabs will now stun the target for a minimum of 24 seconds
every time.

any reason for such a huge stun time? i thought, with paralysis getting an eventual tweak (i think, right?), we didn't want ultra-long stuns since then it boils down to who stuns who first in combat.

Backstab is set up so that it can't be used often. At best, maybe once a minute, in a room with only the two people present. With a crowd, the cooldown gets longer. Also, this cooldown timer is applied even if the backstab misses.

So it's not a move one can use regularly. Definitely something that can be used to open a fight up, but if you miss, it's done for a while, and even if you hit, you can't redo it for a while. Choose to use it in a crowded area and you really can't use it for a while.
