sorry, i meant in the sense that craftsmanship determines quality, while light armor doesn't (yet does determine what someone can make). _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Without detailing weights involved or where each applies, tanning revolves around your ability to skin, hand-eye coordination, and a minimal bit of tailoring skill.
Light Armor, in simplest form, determines what you're able to make by minimum requirement. Craftsmanship and general know-how are the staples of actual armor creation, and effect time and quality of work. |
actually, i looked ahead and ended up seeing something i didn't previously read:

Nope! Ha! But even the highest requirement is still pretty low, by most standards. On the bright side, I gave some weight to light armor skill when determining quality. |
so my bad, i didn't realize you changed things later on in the thread. i had reason to train light armor all this time. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Player-crafted light armor is very dynamic now (as will be player-crafted heavy armor) , and it is not even completely finished for what we have in mind for it. We are releasing the new changes in phases. _________________ ~Well behaved women rarely make history~

oh, suggestion!
since it's possible that some (me) may plan to sell armor for cash and profit, is it possible that we can have some kind of system like GRADE for tailored containers? i'm sure some people want to buy/can afford the remarkable, some want to buy the amazing, and some want to buy the spectacular, and so on...
that said, are the quality levels a secret or can they be released, so we can gauge how well we are in terms of what we make. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

There are armor/weapon and ranged ammo appraisals on the Tracker group site.
Not bullets yet or containers however.
I don't know if those appraisals will change in the future or if the appraisals are the same as in the items that we can make. _________________ All explorers are seeking something they have lost. more high-end quality types were added, i believe (i make amazing quality and some bigger folks make spectacular quality). _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I'll add them as soon as I can see some crafted armors. _________________

Grading: No. To do so would mean allowing the crafter at least some access to the code abstracts involved, and I'm not willing to do that. And that's too bad, because I expressed the same desire to Valla (deliberately keeping armor at x "level).
As for a quality list, (weapon and armor have their own separate lists, by the way; only armor's was changed) I'll just say that spectacular took unbelievable's place and let you discover the rest on your own, osers. _________________ Mickey Brunner

Was heavy armor affected in any way? Tshar's armor used to be unbelievable quality but now it's only phenomenal.
Code: |
You are certain it is of phenomenal quality and workmanship. |

IIRC, the only change is that there are levels above it now. it didn't change place, just that it was before valued at 100 quality (example), and now the highest quality is 150 (or whatever).
maybe your armor was low end unbelievable before? _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Tshar: Appraisal terms changed but the actual numeric rating of your armor in terms of defensive ability has not changed. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

I see. So like yaru said unbelievable was the max at 100(imaginary figures here) but now there's a new cap and phenomenal is at where unbelievable used to be. Or something like that. _________________ It is better to be pissed off than pissed on. |
