My second was 30 hours...and they had to induce 3 times because my water broke early. They told me if the third didn't take, they'd have to do a c-section. This delivery was the hardest, and she was the smallest of my children!
For anyone who hasn't experienced induction, let me just state, for the record, that it makes the labor pains like 3 times as bad. _________________ Counselor Faith Tempest

How about some false labor pains, too, eh?

False labor is cake compared to induced labor. I've had that a couple of times now under the threat of c-section. There's a reason they say women forget how badly it hurts [pure intensity] or they'd never have another one.
36 hours with the first one, had passed 3 due dates and because I was poor white trash at the time going to a general hospital they didn't pay attention until after all the water had been absorbed. I have lots of horror stories that I don't bother to share, because I'd still do it all over again if I could.. the end result is worth it.
The funniest part is if the hip decides to 'disjoint' while you're just standing there minding your own business. _________________ Stay true to yourself no matter the cost and you'll always know who you are. |
