Not really certain. It all depends on who lives where mostly. For some people in Florida, trips to New England could be difficult. If an area somewhere in the middle could be managed.. (around the latitude of the KY/TN border, then most may be able to go.

Could be wrong though in my thoughts. And if people can't get together one year due to distance alone, perhaps they could still meet up with others near their area. I'd prefer to meet up at an official HaelCon, but would be just as happy if the meeting with players was elsewhere at around the same time as well. *nodnodnod*

The thing about Vegas that people may not know, unless they frequent Vegas quite a bit, is that typically there are smaller commuter airlines that are designed for the sheer purpose of flying to Vegas. They will usually offer total packages including air and hotel plus have discounted rates for shows and activities. Sometimes you can get whole packages for less then what the air would cost you on a major airline. To find out if you have commuter flights to Vegas ask a travel agent in your area. Using a travel agent for any vacation is a bonus, you don’t have to worry about planning and finding the best price for your trip, and using a travel agent doesn’t cost you anymore then the cost of your vacation, which may end up being less then what you can find on your own.

Getting back on topic, I checked my calendar this afternoon and realized that your Vegas trip is going to fall just after the start of the financial quarter, when things are pretty slow for me work-wise (subject to change). I'm not sure what the missus' outlook is like (not to mention we're trying to save money for a move), but it's a definite somewhat-possibility.
