Anyone else play this? I just picked it up yesterday and made a W/Mo to get a feel for the game, but plan on starting a "real" character soon. Unfortunately, none of my friends have it yet, and so far I haven't run into anyone who sounds intelligent enough to talk to, let alone group with.

I'm stuck on a few quests, but otherwise I'm content amassing money now that I've paid off most of my equipment and established trading contacts for other gear.
Valla plays too, by the way.

A new Guild Wars peeve, while I'm still freshly incensed over it...:
The mass collection of pro-patriot bigots that would put most Klan rallies to shame.
I can deal with "ass" and "fuck", but it's too bad games don't offer filters for words like "towel head", "frog", and "jap". Competing with Korea and Europe doesn't exactly help, either.

If it makes you feel any better, my main character finally ascended a couple of days ago. And to my surprise, the game/storyline just continues to go on. It never effing ends.
Good thing I was able to change my secondary profession, though. That helped kill some of the monotony.

I don't even use my secondary profession (Monk) at all except to revive once in a while.

I'm only in Maguuma now, but I'm still thoroughly enjoying the game. Well except that I haven't been able to hench the last few missions. And I can't jump down a small hill. And my pet is an idiot. And we need more vault space. But other than that it's a great game.
