Underwater Combat

Special weapons and ammunition intended for use in underwater environments are now available in Beyond The Blue. Note that this equipment is intended for underwater environments and will perform below optimal capacity when used in shallow water or on dry land.

As this announcement would indicate, underwater combat is being supported in Haelrahv. Several changes or restrictions will apply to combat in such areas, here are a few:

- Stamina drain will be slightly increased.
- Throwing weapons will be completely disabled.
- The only archery, firearm, or pulse weapons that will function will be the specially released marine weapons mentioned above.
- Several unarmed attacks will not function underwater.
- Some spells will not work properly underwater, such as fire spells. It is highly recommended electrical spells not be used when players are standing in a body of water or underwater.

We probably should disable slashing and swinging type attacks or make them really hard to do but I don't think we will simply for balance and fairness reasons. But, the jury is still out on that.
