but saying that , there are two things i try to avoid talking about because these two things seem to cause most of all the world conflicts and turns any sane man into a curse slinging frothy mouthed phycho freak..
the two things are Religion and Politics |

I seem to find anything making jokes about religion humorous, but perhaps that's due to my background/personality.
Raised southern baptist <insert BIG frown here>, moved on to study various religions because the christian beliefs weren't logical and were full of contradictions, eventually realized religion is a sham and became about as non-religious as it is possible for a human being to be.
Unfortunately, I missed the original post so I don't even know what the hooplah was about.
But as everyone here has pointed out, there are certain topics which will always be controversial. Religion is one of them.
