Despite the fact that you get sick amounts of cash, it's llichnai slabs. Gadget parts seem to have made a random jump; all of them seem to be worth more, with the top one I found selling at $410. Still not really worth carrying, though.

ah, glad to hear they're being sold for more now Smile

well IIRC, you're not supposed to be constantly making/selling gadgets to NPCs.

the reason you're supposed to be able to (eventually) take apart gadgets because all parts are not meant to be always available.

i like the idea of selling parts to the NPC and, in turn, the NPC having an inventory to sell, but personally since parts sell for $10-25, it's not worth lugging them to a store. heck, when i go hunting i don't even carry commodity finds on me. i just take weapons, vests, pills, dermagels, and the ill-whatever slabs. but that's just how i hunt.

Well, if they weren't meant to be sold to NPCs, Drake wouldn't have had me sell a bunch to Shavcire to get the pricing right the night they came out.

well, you can't be surprised you ran out of parts if you used them all.

There are more types of certain parts than there are of others, right now there aren't many coil types, but a copper coil has an equal chance of being found as a flimsy casing. This system IS supposed to rely on players bartering between themselves - somewhat, but not completely.

I remember a few people actually complaining because they thought they were getting too many gadget components.. the same people are now complaining that they don't have enough. Wishy-washyness is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. Neutral I'll see about adjusting the drop rates, and since it seems circuitboards are being found way too much, I'm gonna make those harder to find.

Edit: It's done. And there's plenty of chips in there already, so I'm not adding more.

o.o Before I had nothing to go on. I didn't know you'd need coils for two projects and I wasn't paying attention to the fact that I had much less of some types of parts then I had of others. These sorts of things you can only tell when you have use of them. It's not wishy-washiness whatsoever but trial and error. Some things you simply can not know unless you have full projects in front of you.

Thank you for adding more things like coils and sockets. It should offset the fact that I have twenty circuitboards and casings and none of those. I appreciate it.

In about 3 nights of hunting with a friend, I managed to find 1 socket. I have 2 or 3 coils, and found 1 glass. I had 1 glass sitting around from before I had a clue what it did. As far as reflectors, I have enough of those, for now. And Tubes, I have a ton of those as well. I'm certain however, that if it needs to be fixed, we will manage to get enough of whatever we need, especially by the time everything comes out.

Seriously Kit, give it a while before you start complaining already. In a few days you'll REALLY be thanking me.

I'm not complaining so much as saying I can't make anything because I have no coils and sockets and no one else (that I talk to) has found any either. ;.; I'm sorry if it's getting on your nerves but I LOVE this system and I really wish I could use it more. I've been making a ton of unfinished stuff that I can snap the parts I need into. If anything, I think it speaks well for the system because I want to utlize it so much more then I'm able to with part availablity.

I get the point all ready. I'll just post my prices on the other thread like you do Yaru and annoy people that way. I can't help it. Gadgets rock and I wanna build more!
