*topic* I'm reactivating my account for a month or two, gonna check out the Chains of Promethia expansion thingy. I have\had a level 60 paladin on Shiva server but it might have gotten deleted. Anyone else play?

I played EQ. Have a level 65 Dwarf Paladin, 40 Ogre berserker, 26 Vah Shir thief (tyger looking race), 12 Gnome Necromancer and a few others. I got bored after 2.5 years of playing though. I'm enjoying the use of my imagination and the RP value of text based games again now.

It's an MMoRPG. i refered to it as a graphics based rpg. Trust me, after my time in EQ, i know there is NO RPing in those types of games.

It's rare but there are some who RP in FFXI. I've seen it before. Mostly you have young people abusing the shit out of the auto-translator heh but it's usually the more mature players that RP.

Did anyone else see that he said the Vah Shir dudes or whatever were a Tyger looking race? I feel sorry for all of you that have to see that displayed in graphics.

I made an attempt at FF11, but it wasn't my kindof thing, but then....I've been playing text-based RPGs for almost 10 years now, and I've never really found a graphical MMoRPG that suited my tastes. I have to admit that as far as worlds go, I like the world of FFIX better than any others I've seen, and their pricing scheme wasn't all that bad either. Now I know of other people who love the game.
