AIM suggestion

I think it would be cool if skill checks were involved in the detection of being aimed at. It is quite feasible that one could AIM at someone and remain unnoticed until the moment of fire. I think it would add a certain edge in PVP.

When AIMing at someone the skill check would involve the proper skills. I'd assume perception + streetwise\tracking. . .maybe even tactics.

If they fail the skill check they won't notice you AIMing at them and you basically get a single surprise strike. After that though they will be focusing on you so any AIMing afterwards would be noticed.

How does this differ from sniping?

For one, everyone using aimed attacks would be able to do it.
It wouldn't be able to be used during hiding; that's sniping.
