...

Okay, this is actually starting to get to me.

We need a men's clothing shop on Echak. We need to stop having so many women's clothing shops and add more stuff for the men. This is pretty depressing since I play mostly male characters...esspecially because I like to dress them well without resorting to armor. Girls have the coolest clothes and men get...fatigues. Or shorts. Or jeans....and not even cool jeans because only girly cool jeans exist.

If you need ideas, I'm FULL of them.

Beaaaaaau...seriously, you need to stick up for us and ban the creation of more girly crap until we get some nice men's things to wear.

I'd be happy if they were unisex...but everything in this boutique is 'female form' this and 'female form' that. ><

Uuuuunhappy.

It's not like it's just Echak either.

Yes, I'm aware there is tailoring. However, my younger characters don't have the 5000 to spend per item of clothing for Yaru to make them something to wear. These examples should just serve as a base...the same design should come in other colors....I'm just making them up as I go along.

** Formal clothing **

1. a pale blue men's workshirt with pale silver pinstripes
2. a deep burgandy dress shirt
3. a fitted black tweed suit jacket with a gray silk lining
4. a pair of white linen dress slacks
5. a loose fitting white linen dress jacket
6. a pair of polished patent leather dress shoes

** Island Wear **

1. a pair of loose cream pants with a draw-string waist
2. a billowing linen shirt with rolled sleeves
3. a colorful printed shirt left to hang open
4. a sturdy men's beach hat with a wide brim
5. a pair of sleek shades with bright orange lenses
6. some rubber-soled sandals with white leather bands
7. a pair of wide leather sandles
8. a pair of rolled up cargo jeans
9. a tight green muscle shirt with a white sahe on the front

** Daily Wear **

1. a long-sleeved (colored) t-shirt
2. a loose-fitted (colored) sweatshirt
3. a tight black v-neck t-shirt
4. a white t-back undershirt
5. a pair of black sneakers with blue racing stripes
6. some green velcro sneakers with black laces
7. a fitted red and brown plaid shirt with short sleeves
8. a dark blue cotton button-down shirt
9. a lightweight burgundy jacket with half-moon zipper pulls
10. a short sleeved black shirt with red bands around the collar and the hem
11. a tight olive t-shirt with ancient Alteri symbols scrawled across the front
12. a white fleece jacket with a large gray band across the chest

1) It's $3000.
2) It can get a 20% discount if the person doesn't mind wearing my logo.
3) Look at most of the items being sold at festivals. $3000 isn't a large jump in price.
4) Stop acting like I'm charging a disgusting amount, $3000 is VERY fair.

I never said it wasn't fair. But a level 5 character can't afford $3000 for a shirt. That, and I'd rather these more interesting shirts to tailored goods, honestly.

The point of this complaint is to deal with too many girl clothing shops and not enough boy shops.

hate to disappoint you, but a good number of the items you requested could be done pretty well with tailoring.

anyway, yeah, i can see there being a need for more boy stores, but then again i'm not so sure that they'll be incredibly cheap, either.

I would like something on par with all the women's clothing shops with similiar prices and amount of goods.

Or maybe you need to stop being so gender-specific, and just look pretty...like me!

Anyhow, I dare you to walk around any shopping mall, or downtown shopping district and make a list of the stores that sell only men's clothing and only women's clothing, I think that surprisingly enough....the stores that sell clothing for women are going to win out. For instance, if I walk around the square in my town...which is nothing but law offices and overpriced novelty stores....there are a number of women's clothing places, and how many men's clothing shops are there? None. Unless you count the store that rents tuxedos but deals mostly in bridal gowns.

But we're talking about the future, not modern day Earth. Even so, I'll take the challenge. I live in Philadelphia. This is the nearest mall (about 10 minutes away). It's not the biggest.

Most of the clothing stores are unisex....however, on the men's only clothing shop list I count: 7 only for men's clothing shops....though I've noticed a few of the women's only shops have a men's section...like No Name and Urban Planet because I buy a lot of my stuff in the men's section. And there's an Express for Men too, but it's one of the external places around the mall, not in the mall itself.

Kit, I hope you realize that the lack of male-oriented clothing shops is probably just a general oversight. I doubt the counselors responsible for clothing shops ever set out to purposely oppress the gender.

Hey now, I resent that. I like forcing men to HAVE to come to me for clothing. *wink wink, nudge nudge, hint hint*

I didn't realize I made it sound like that, sorry if I did. I just appreciate good fashion.

And Beau, I've said numerous times I'd LOVE another session with you if you give me a feather. Kit's got loads of customed tailored clothing but I have two secondary characters that could use a non-leather wardrobe!

What am I gonna do with this E'lana voucher? ::pout::
