How much are you looking for for the sewing kit? And once you take the gloves off you throw them away. I learned THAT the hard way.

Actually, no.
a pair of sterile surgical gloves are rares. They are permanent and give a bonus to surgery. This is what Daedalus is selling.
a set of sterile medical gloves are one of 50 in a box purchased from Aelae's trailer. When you remove each pair, you throw them away, or, if you bypass the timer, you'll automatically take them off and throw them away anyway. Each gives a bonus to first aid.

I got one about 2 weeks ago in a box. I took it off and it said I threw them away. I assisted and was told that they're suppose to do that.

It's essentially impossible for the surgical gloves to do that. The medical gloves had to be specially coded in order for them to do it, and that code has exactly nothing to do with the surgical gloves.

You take off a pair of sterile surgical gloves.

You slip your sterile gloves onto your hands.
remove glove
You remove your sterile gloves and toss them in the trash. |
In other words, if you threw a pair of gloves in the trash simply by removing them, they were most definitely the 'medical' variety.

I honestly can't be sure now, thinking about it. I just know they were box gloves and gave a plus to FA and made me go "NOOOOOO!" when My medic took them off to rearange his outfit and they got tossed and that Beau skipped his way down to tell him they were suppose to do that.

First aid bonus is most definitely the toss away (medical) variety. When Aelae comes back for another visit, she will be selling boxes of these again.
