Now I know sometimes you could smack a critter in the face and it stands there dumbfounded (stunned) for a period of time, but what about critters going into shock? Like, you hack open a limb, or slice open their back...they could go into shock and possibly die without further attacks.
Likewise the same could happen to characters, after making the appropriate stat checks. I think a few would be involved because shock is as much mental as it is physical.
This would make tearing a chith open in five different places so much easier to comprehend. Right now, some of them Just. Keep. Going. It boggles my mind.

In terms of the end result, how does this differ from crit deaths?
