Actually, the gem cutting tools are big table sized things, which is why I made the workshops. There might be handheld rotary tools though down the line.

Hehe, sorry, my mistake. Smile

I've given pawn value to the components, and I'm gonna tweak down their occurence rate.

Huff. But there's a premium place for everything else! Okay, I'll stop complaining now. The very idea of never having to forage for food-money again in just completely appealing.

THANKYOUTHANKYOUTHANKYOU! *.*

Aside from the annoying belt issue (please can it be just worn or can we get toolbags, workbags?), I LOVE this system. I even got to watch Zap grind off his hand. I love how repairing fills my mind...I didn't have to hunt today at all. I just wish I could move INTO the Indigo Workroom and never leave, but that ain't happenin. ^.^

Thanks for all of your hard work. It was well worth the wait.

And repair is just for starters. Wait till you get to use the drills, now THOSE disasters are fun.

Major update.. Three gadget schematics are available in the Llanfair Tech Workshop: Communicators, Flashlights, and Droidlights. They're harder to read and take a lot longer to study than the repair manuals, so be warned. Also, ONLY TECHS CAN READ THEM. So no one goes out and buys one and then realizes they're not a tech, then wants their money back... no refunds will be issued. Razz

The gadgets are able to be fully assembled. Some part sizes will matter; if you use a certain size part in one area of the gadget (like a large bulb socket), you'll have to use a large reflector and large light bulb. Tech-made comms have a special feature.. you'll find out when you make them.

Just thought I'd mention, gadget DISASSEMBLY is not active yet. Any parts you use now will be stuck until I finish disassembly.

I changed the rate at which gadget parts are found; excellent gadget parts will be found far less frequently, average parts will be found a little less frequently, and poor parts will be found the most. The reason for this is I want great parts to be a rare thing, and perfectly made gadgets to be even more rare. This isn't to say you can't still make good gadgets, just that perfect ones will be much harder to come by.

How will someone know if they are excellent parts? Just by the adjective that comes before the tap description? I.e. 'worn' circuitboard as opposed to 'pristine' circuitboard.

Appraise them.

Drake, any word on how long it takes between studies? It was over half an hour when the game gave out and I still couldn't study again.

Yes, there are light bulbs for sale.

Yes, appraise the part.

And a lot longer than repair manuals.
