I'd hope there be a bit of a perception+luck roll in determining their balance. I haven't done combat in awhile but I don't remember there being any indication of the other person's or creature's balance.
If I'm wrong, ignore this.

I would think the skill check would involved tactics + perception to determine whether or not you could assess their balance. Naturally when facing multiple opponents one would want to take advantage of any weakness, in this case the least balanced opponent first. _________________ It is better to be pissed off than pissed on. |
