charging $50,000 for backpacks of that size. they're going to be a very limited run because it's not easy for me to get exceptional quality hides by myself. i have to put out a bounty to get them normally.

so far i think i'll only have exceptional kashaga pelts available. depends on what is brought to me under the bounty i plan to put out for exceptional pelts.

Why the high price?
Because I pay the people who get me the pelts a lot. I also play an artisan. I shouldn't have to be in combat to get my cash. This is my income source.

You're being greedy!
That's more a statement than a question, but yes, I am. I'm allowed to this time. This is something that takes a ton of time to get the materials for and also requires a lot of skill to pull off. I also tend to make normal backpacks for free. Soo don't complain. I also don't really want to be backordered on these, so the high price is also to actually discourage a lot of people from wanting tons of these things.

I don't want to flood the market with cheap goods of this quality. If 108 pound (or whatever the cap of these are) become the norm, then there's no reason to make backpacks NOT of exceptional quality. As someone who crafted armor in DR, I know what it's like to not be in the top 3. now that (I think) Yaru is one of the top three artisans, I don't want to do the same to all the younger ones who are out and about. People shouldn't get these for cheap or when coming right into the game.
