hell, the start of this thread includes a statement by Mickey saying you don't need research to research it.

ps: the insignias are totally sweet. and i didn't know there were more than one kind of standard.
this stuff rocks. thanks.
edit: oh, and so i don't triple post now.
will it ever be possible to remove insignias and standards from armor/shields/etc?

what's the insignias do? |
so far i've restored three different ones. they give bonuses to different weapons when affixed to torso (or full body) armors.
sadly (and logically), the bonuses only affect the "old-school" weapon types.
i'm really liking the whole background of that area, now. it's getting more and more developed.
