Armor/Weapon Quality

Appraisal will now show the proper protection/damage for armor/weapons, with the bonuses for quality applied. Appraisal skill, intelligence, and armor/weapon quality factor into the ability to get an accurate reading.

Weapon quality was not properly applying damage bonuses in combat, which should be fixed sometime this week.

Keep in mind your uniform is pretty much maxed out as far as quality goes (it's possible to get higher quality armor, but not by any means readily available to players), so you'll have to find someone with a respectable skill level to appraise it accurately. (You're not completely oblivious. By my numbers, you're somewhere around half-oblivious.)

edit: is it possible to add a 'you feel certain this is right' once someone is way way over the required skill to appraise a certain quality?

With 2 points short of 400 between Intelligence, appraisal and light armor. Is 'appears' as high as I should only be getting in the quality?

by the by, i can appraise my uniform and rifle now and see the quality. i'm not quite sure why (not like i'm complaining... but i'm not sure if the difficulty was lowered intentionally).

also, would quality ever reflect how well something works at different ranges?

The quality of a weapon was not modifying the damage done in combat properly, which should now be fixed.

In addition, you will now need an appropriate amount of skill in the related weapon to get the full bonus from weapon quality.
