Okay, I will be the first to say that this suggesting is a tad pointless and just fluff....but I'll suggest it anyhow.
When people get hurt and bleed, they tend to be in pain. However, no one ACTS like they're in pain. So how about, like drunkenness, degrees of pain give you and people messaging about being hurt?
Examples:
Kit Murphy groans under his breath about the pain in his wounded right leg.
Kit Murphy limps in from the north (leg wounds).
Kit Murphy dabs away the blood on his forehead before it can roll into his eyes.
Kit Murphy's face contorts as a painful throbbing starts in his wounded abdomen.
Kit Murphy looks like he's having trouble breathing from a wounded chest.
Kit Murphy holds his wounded right arm against his side to protect it from being jostled.
Kit Murphy seems to swoon for a moment because of the pain he's in, but catches himself. |
