So I suck at design. And I am horribly lazy at putting my notes together onto pages.

Still, I think there is quite a bit of information here for both new and not-so-new players. I just do the research that no one else seems to want to do.

Some of it is old, some of it is original, some is trivial, some is pretty darn useful. I'm slowly filling the rest in (even though it will become obsolete with the new experience system, whenever that happens).

Thanks to Galeth, Inaira, Infierna, Josie, Layne, Mellie, Stilldawn, Vhen, Xice, Zamde, and probably a few other people I can't remember for titles. Thanks for Infierna and Layne for help with experience testing. Thanks to Kelasa for various info.

Oh yeah, and thanks to Haidee for, um, not stealing all my money.

Actually, what you did was good design, heh.

Excellent information Aesal. For your RPSTATS, 60-69% resistance is excellent. I need a Mage to to get 70% and 80%...or maybe just some Intellect boosts. I don't believe you can go above 80% resistance anymore.

There's irony in a site dedicated to bad design having bad design.

Google banner automatically makes something use credibility.

Smileys and poor spelling make it lose points, too.

They also have a dead links for most of the examples of 'bad' sites.

I think that site looks fine. Simple is good. Banner ads can be annoying, but you have to admit, those with simple text ads without sound or movement really are not that bad, and some of these companies actually pay pretty fairly for the ads, believe it or not. I don't have any issue with the smiley either, as long as they are few and far between and not animated.

There are some typos and such though.

As far as Aesal's site... Aesal, I think your site is just fine. It serves an excellent purpose, as a collection of various information that you can update easily and people can browse easily. Information is usually far more valuable than aesthetics.

Well, Trevor said everything I was going to say, so I'll just say 'ditto'.

A+, Aesal.

PS: I'd suggest putting NEWS 16 on there. In case it gets deleted.

Ha, I didn't think I'd start a discussion on web design. But thanks for the support.

Aesal, I REALLY like your design. Fluffy webpages tend to be hard to navigate. Yours is simple and neat and perfect. Just add some stuff about cyber gear and where you can buy stuff from errands and you'll have all the information I ever need to check other sites for.
