Alright, so I have the Unlock power, and I do realize that it isn't supposed to be a power that basically turns my Psionic Ability ranks into Security for opening boxes, but I think the penalty on it is a bit too harsh. Here is something that I just tested on it.
Borkin hunters are level 17 creatures, I think. Maybe even level 16. Whichever it is, they occasionally run from me now. Dante is level 22 with maxed Psionic Ability and Occult Lore, yet he still has quite a bit of trouble opening the boxes the hunters drop even with bonuses that put his Psionic ability at 92 ranks and his Mentality at 43. The odd part, a Technician with 23 ranks in Security could open them with less difficulty than I had. Is there supposed to be that big of a gap when using the power?
If so, can you PLEASE consider making it easier to open boxes from creatures well below our level? _________________ Help! Help! I'm being oppressed! |

I'm an artisan with 12 in security and I've never had trouble with a chith box at all. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

By the same token...my security is even lower than Yaru's and chith boxes have never caused me any problems either. _________________ Help! Help! I'm being oppressed! |

Well, I think my low security is offset by my very high coordination. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Or the fact that you're nearing your 666th post. You know how things get whenever that number comes up.

Yeah, since this thread is pretty much dead, I won't mind saying it here.
How about we get a ban of some kind on this forum bot?
