Can we start having some more expensive fabrics show up? Since the price of the fabric/hide you use is one of the two main influences to the possible value of the final product, and since we're all not interested in using the hides of poor loving woodland creatures, I'd really like some new material types.
That, and I know Eolai have a connection to lumis silk, and currently that's the best normally-available material, erm, available.

Everyday I look at the material selection I think to myself... *one day we can weave our own, sometime after the EXP change we will be able to weave our own. Valla said.* Otherwise I would be so depressed an irritated.

I should mention that we intend to encourage you to use hides. It gives skinning extra value, be it your own skinning or someone else's.
Valla has plans for weaving though, which will help you acquire new materials.

What about some sort of insect web or cocoon manufacturing to get something like haelrahv's version of silk?
I think it might be fun to do something other then hunting or foraging (though I suppose this is foraging). You could collect webs and process them down into thread....and then dye them.
Making dyes -- by collecting berries and other things -- could be excellent too. |

Hey, I want an ant farm, a slew of bee hives for honey, and a silk worm farm!

Ugh, I REALLY like how on HR there are no earth creatures. So I hope they change the names and the looks of the creatures if they do it. |

I only have one suggestion which I made in game is the sslissh whatever skins are really cool when you skin them as blue and purple but you dont get this in the finished product

Yeah, it's a shame that chith harvesters don't keep their sun-bleached aspect, too.
