With weapons having all these optimum ranges . . .will there be a way for us to attempt to stay at a certain range in combat aside from manually using advance and retreat?

Also I was thinking that with the engagement system, ranged weapons that are better suited for close range combat should have far less(if any??) penalties in regards to aiming.

Whereas ranged weapons that are better suited for farther away get horrible penalties for not aiming but a much more significant bonus with a full aimed shot.

Just more suggestions. . .
