I have only one word of advice! If you're young and buying a MAD, get the very very cheapest stuff for it or else you can't install it. booo
Anyhow...the MADs are AWESOME.
Drake informed me that only the owner tech can put together their droids....so I guess Thorne can't help us. Oh well! Anyhow, just get the basics. I suggest the fanatical chips myself, thanks. |

You can't install half the things for air drones when you first get 'em, either..something to work towards. |

ADs come already mostly assembled. MADs are just shells. You need to install everything...including the gearbox...which Drake had to help me with because I couldn't install the simplest. |

Are you the only person with a MAD yet? Has anyone else had any other experiences with it? Can you customize it like an Air Drone? |

Unless you plan to get something completely crazy, i doubt Aelae will charge you over $25,000, and even then I think that's aiming high. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Uhm. Are you really supposed to be buying them at 6th? You can't buy an air drone until 15th.

Ummm, I am rather new, but I got an air drone at 6th...I believe it was your site that I first learned that from...were you meaning to refer to the MAD perhaps? Not trying to insult you in any way, so please dont take it that way. _________________ Dregonard Lefear offers a voodoo shrunken Arakaweii head to you.

For that, I may set MADs to 20th level.
I'll see what ADs are at.. Zoz made those, not me. _________________ Something wicked this way comes... |

My cat will be taking all smitings for me..notice the look of surprise in his eyes
As far as MADs go, it does make sense that it be a higher tech kinda deal...but I think ADs are good at sixth where they are _________________ Dregonard Lefear offers a voodoo shrunken Arakaweii head to you.

AD's are definately set at 6th level. I went in to try to buy a part for an AD at 5th (heh, wanting to buy a piece at a time and dreaming) and got a message that I couldn't buy anything. Went back in about .033 seconds after making 6th level (yeah, ok..so I was excited!) and was able to purchase the items to build him.
Makes a lot more sense to me that MADs not be available until 20th level. IMO, they should be difficult. Something for me to look forward to achieving, definately, and maybe that also wouldn't make MADs eventually become 'too commonplace'...keep them special. _________________ Before you can react, several abberated lifeforms rend their way out of your chest.
