You're not truely southern unless you call all soft drinks "coke".

Everyone in Utah calls it "pop" and it drives me insane. Soda! _________________ >l in corset

I voted coke. I actually usually call them either just drinks cause that's what I usually drink, or by its actual name - coke, pepsi, etc., but coke was the best option. And yep, I'm a southerner. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Don't lie, Trevor. You live in Florida. Everyone knows Florida is not the South.

Well, that's debatable, but I was born in Alabama. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

I lived in Silicon Valley for the first 12 years of my life, where it is properly called soda. My mom then moved us up to Oregon where people call it "pop". My first day at school in my 8th Grade science class, they started talking about hot air, carbonation, and "pop". I thought they were talking about their fathers. I was so confused... _________________ Help! Help! I'm being oppressed! |

When I lived up north, it was Pop, always. In Texas it's Coke, even if it's Pepsi or Sprite, it's Coke. Where I live now, it's soda water. I personally always prefered sweet syrupy goodness. |
