Kewl, thanx Trevor. By the way, do you know whats the max capacity that one can tailor on a backpack? Some are saying 95, some say 96 or 98 even one says it must be 100. Can ya help us out here? _________________ Lick or Be Licked |

I don't believe there is a real max hardcoded in, though there's a practical one depending on maxed skills/stats and how many bonuses you can stack. _________________ ~Hunter~ |

Okay, maybe it's late and my brain isn't working but... huh?
For us simple minded folk can you give us a yay or nay? I think the debate is whether there are tailored 98lb and 100lb backpacks that people have created in the game. Are there? _________________ Tiena Rhyker |

The max would depend on tailoring bonuses you have due to everything from profession to items you have in use, etc. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Ouch, tailoring caps out pretty fast.
Thanks for the list, though. And the new things we can make. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

I just wanted to thank you again Trevor. I knew I would like the list and I thought most anyone who tailors now and in the future would as well. It is very nice to have markers for setting goals. Thanks a ton!
I'll probably ask for more stuff, don't feel bad if there are no answers... If we don't ask you cannot say yes. _________________ Tiena Rhyker |

I'm hesistant to divulge information that players can gleam themselves, but I will on occasion. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Not to be all "I have nothing to go for", but after 130 ranks in tailoring, I seem to not be able to do anything but make bigger containers.
Is it possible to add more things to the tailoring list? I don't know if there's a memory issue or just that no one could thing of more things to make. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Suit, jacket, blazer, beanie, hoodie (is there a better name for that?), leg warmers, fez, boxing gloves, fannie-pack, tablecloth, bathrobe, ten-gallon hat, pocket-protector, loincloth.
Sorry if I named stuff that already existed. |

There are other creation systems on the table that will be based off of tailoring, but most likely will not be released until the new experience system rolls out.
(Valla Storm taps her portable loom.)
Though what you will be able to make with the loom, I am not telling!

Blanket, jeans, pantaloons, sneakers, pillow.
I'd also like for tailors to make their own sewing kits. Maybe if a high level tailor makes a sewing kit, then someone notably lower than them in skill will even get a slight bonus while using it.
IE: Yaru has 200 base tailoring (WOOT!). He makes a sewing kit. In comes Bob Bobbo, with 50 tailoring.
200/50 = +4 to tailoring for Bob.
Maybe make the bonus cap out at like +2 or +4 or something. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Ok I have a few suggestions and remarks.
As for tailoring jeans, jeans are pants, just made with denim. So instead of suggesting jeans, maybe suggest DENIM MATERIAL.
For high level tailors, I think some high level items should be added. Bodices...I'm thinkin. I also wanna suggest garters. I had a few more in mind...oops brain fart, SNEAKERS, slippers and boots are nice, but some people prefer sneakers. I'll edit as I think of more! _________________ Homicide before Suicide Any day. |
