Most of your pulse weapons fire a single round per shot. The gridgun and splattergun fire five. Energy rifles (Rtuzma and Xeawoa energy rifles) fire two shots. The splattergun and energy rifles are very hard to come by, to date they only appeared for a limited time (a few days) at a merchant event. The gridgun can be purchased readily. |
I just recently started playing, and have been really enjoying the game so far. The only real thing I have noticed as a tech, is that there aren't really any decent powered pulse weapons. I also haven't been able to locate anyone who still plays, that has an energy rifle or splatter gun I can try and buy off them. Would it be possible to make those avilable somewhere? Even if for a short time.
Also, is it possible to find pulse weapons in boxes? People have told me no but I don't understand why that would be. |

I'm sure you'll see more to come, both in boxes and not. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

There were a few rare-ish sold and customized (for exorbitant amounts of money) by Haenim, and may be a few more in the future. _________________ HR-Marduk

Not really on topic: Is there anything like a multi-shot projectile (marksmanship) gun in the game? I asked a time or two to a couple people, but I didn't really get an answer. _________________ You are Normal And Boring Sorlan Freelance, a Human. |

I think shotguns can fire buckshot, right? |

Haven't had a shotgun, just a spreadshot rifle. But I was under the impression they both used shells.
I was thinking more along the lines of like an assault rifle, that could shoot in bursts. 3 bullets at a time, something like that. _________________ You are Normal And Boring Sorlan Freelance, a Human. |

Just a quick note. The Rtuzma heavy pulse gun works just peachy.

Would you please sell me your splatter gun? Like I mentioned before, I'm brand new to the game, so I don't have a ton of cash sitting around like most folks. But I am able to earn well enough. I'd be willing to do payments or something. Help a new fella out? Pretty please? |

Splatterguns are expensive. It's like, $100,000 (maybe more) to buy it from Papo, and then I spent over $150,000 at the Vale getting it to remarkable quality.
If you're brand new to the game, a gridgun will be fine, or a heavy pulse gun like Chris said. Plus, they're actually affordable *grins*. |

There is no multi-shot marksmanship weapon. Shotguns do additional damage in one shot to compensate for not actually performing separate hits for each piece of ammunition material inside the shell.
Shotguns hit quite hard. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

This should prolly be asked on the technician board, but it appears that no admin are watching that section of the forum.
Are there any plans to allow technicians to build pulse weapons? Similar to how craftsmanship allows the building of archery weapons. Will electronics eventually include this?
Curious. |
