1) can a house start off at a lawn? i just figure you'd be on someone's lawn and not in the first room listed.
2) can the rooms give information on if it is an outside or inside area? there's no way to tell what is a lawn by default
3) can we have more than 'door' for the main exit noun? i was thinking gate, or arch or entryway or so on. doors would be nice, too, since that doesn't count as door.
edit: one more.
can we have the option to have a portal exit on one side and a cardinal exit on the other? (mainly OUT). _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Right now the system is very specifically set up this way, but I won't rule out changing it.

Yeah I'll check this out, easy to do.

Yeah, this will be more work than 2) but less than 1).

This was a complicated issue since you could trap people/yourself in rooms, but you can still do that with the right setup. So, rather than fighting every possible trap scheme, I added the ability to LEAVE a room if there are no valid exits, today. So... long story short, I can probably work something out here. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

yeah, i would 100% love being able to do this, because right now i'm treading the entire area as more of a complex than a single area. the map that i hope to get is set up like this:
for what classrooms are which, and right now people are entering in the art studio (as opposed to the southernmost room) and that's just odd. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Okay Im having issues....
My livingroom: I bought a rug and a sofa... now i cant fit anything else in it (i.e. chair, coffeetable)
My kitchen i bought: 4 chairs and a chandelier and now I can't fit my table in it?
Am i doing something wrong?
K also couldn't buy a bed for my guest room... but i have noticed that both the livingroom and the bedroom have 3 items already in it. _________________ Neifl Cacambo - "Anyone have change for a tampon?"

for plant stuff, the change occurs and you're deducted cash BEFORE you confirm yes or no.
also, unrelated to the above but can we have it the option to set things so the law DOES work in our homes? _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Would it be possibly to extend the characters in a door adjective? I can't even get 'a glass sliding door' in there. _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

The adjective should be glass or sliding.
The name should be: a glass sliding door
So when you want to enter that portal, you can GO SLIDING DOOR or GO GLASS DOOR, depending on which you picked.

New question: Is getting things like crucibles and stoves still on the planning plate? Or even, maybe I'll beg, having the portable kinds for sale at the fest? _________________ "I reject your reality and substitute my own!" -- Adam Savage

Kit, kit, kit.
From the home updates thread:
Outstanding Items To Be Resolved:
- There is no way to move furnishings from storage if you sell a home.
- There is no way to view or pay maintenance fees yet.
- No lab equipment can be bought yet.
- Homes don't have windows.
- Interior rooms cannot be locked. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

while this is 100% someone else telling me what a GMNPC said, i think someone who asked Unos for a crucible was told there would be a $5,000,000 pricetag involved.
totally 100% "heard from a friend" type information, though, and i have no clue if that's a thing to gauge how much it would cost when it does come out, as well. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

don't forget that it was heard through someone else and who knows why that was the pricetag in the first place (possibly just to chase someone away). so the actual statement means nothing other than "hey it might cost a ton." _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

Let me clarify: Unos was speaking of a portable crucible I believe, and he didn't intend to actually sell one. He was illustrating he'd charge something pretty insane for one.
Home crucibles, when available, will be far under $5M and will be more or less like a furnishing in terms of portability. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
