I have to say, this is the first game I played where a craft-based class could start making decent-looking stuff from the start.
Sure, it's only bracers and anklets for now, but it's not "A badly made bracer that looks like ass".
I'm curious how studs and such work when attaching them to items.
It says studs work on things you don't want to embroider.
What counts as emboridering?
"A X stiched with Y thread" - is that embroidering?
"A X stiched with Y thread embroidered with Z" - or is that?
Just not sure.
Otherwise, damn good class! |

ATTACH the studs...I think they have a sign next to the stuff that tells you to do that.
My embroidered backpack made of black karbora and embroidered with pink thread in a gamojab shape looks like:
a textured black karbora backpack embroidered with a detailed gamojab with little eyes in shades of pink _________________ >l in corset
Inside an intricately beaded twilight black suede corset with hot pink lacings you see a buttery nipple, a buttery nipple, a steaming pile of gamojab poop, a speckled red crab, a chocolate chip brownie, a map of Haelrahv, a huge blonde hair ball, a severed Haidee head, and your boobs. |

Oh, I know I have to use the attach verb, what i was wondering is if this message means it's not possible, or I'm just not skilled enough yet.
"You attempt to attach some silver studs to a textured black karbora bracelet with silver stitching, but can't seem to get it right.
Roundtime: 5 sec."
The item is a textured black karbora bracelet with silver stitching. |

I *think* the stitching counts as embroidery as well. I have seen items that look like "A red shirt stitched with black and embroider with x" but I also think Arden said once that we would only be able to do one or the other. I'd try attaching the studs to something you stitched with the standard thread that comes in the sewing kits. _________________ Behind every optic is a mathematic. |

I've attatched stuff to items with colored stitching, it works. That message looks a lot like what I used to get trying to install things before I had enough skill. |

That simply means you don't have the skill. There is a random factor, so you may be able to get it after a few tries.
You can attach things to clothing with stitching, just not embroidery. _________________ Arden [hr-arden@haelrahv.com]

Awesome, thank you. I was assuming it was a 'no skill' thing, anyway, but just wanted to be sure. |
