Regarding the not-so-rare rares (tikzor scale rattle, the nightstick, rings, pins, etc.)... are there a limited number? Like, if someone has 50 tikzor scale rattles stored away in their backpack, does that mean that nobody else can find one until that person sells or discards or gives them to a errand guy? |

The trench coat (actually a duster) I own (and wore to Simucon 2000) is similar to the one Hunter posted at http://stores.pilotonline.com/menshats/catalog20.html
Except mine is pitch black and nearly flawlessly maintained since I never really need to wear such a thing in Florida. I can detach the shoulder panels and don't usually wear them, but I have them if I ever wanted em. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato

Ugh! No ya don't. My boyfriend wore one on our first date *shudder*... thankfully he's had the good sense not to since. I just associate them with flashers... or worse yet, bad detective stories. _________________ Behind every optic is a mathematic. |

thanks I appreciate the response guys and gals. I saw a duster once I think on Hot topic and was looking through it to get a picture but couldn't find it. I had a pretty good feeling it was a coat. Would be pretty lame if it was a feather duster that gave pretty good bonus that and it wouldn't have any reason to be around. _________________ Wash, Rinse, Repeat. <---Instructions found on a brain washing machine. |

Was wondering if there are also rare and ultra-rare guns and pulse weapons? Could we get an example of some if so?
Thanks |

Hmm..I know there's a more recent treasure update thread, but I didn't see it, so here I am.
I just found this: a shimmering silferton pendant adorned with a gold pattern. It "considerably" enhances one's stamina. I was just wondering what category of rareness it fits into, since I've never found one before. Just one step up from the vibro-sabres and whatnot, I'm assuming? |

Speaking of boxes... i was wondering if there was any way possible for the area for Darga's to be increased?
Right now there are only 6 rooms available to hunt Darga in, and since this is the best area for boxes there are times when there are 3-4 once I even saw 5 people in this area at one time. Its very difficult to find a critter let alone the treasure, or if you can't enlarge the area mebbe make a different critter of equal value able to drop boxes?

When does one start finding rare items, anyway?
I mean, I'm probably expecting too much to find something cool in chiths, aren't I. _________________ A bright-eyed Thekko Ku Kalla dressed in a dapper sailor suit takes to flight and careers through the air toward the Modan Kucho and slams into him!

For sake of discussion, there are 5 levels of rarity, 1 being really common in low level boxes and 5 being really rare. This is item is a 4, which is very rare but not ultra rare. Ultra rare items are always one of a kind.

I can't comment on this specific area because it's Roselie's, but we're working on new areas with new creatures of many levels, although most are neutral or good alignment.

Every box has at least an ungodly small chance of a rare/ultra rare I believe. _________________ "Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something." -- Plato
