In live I was wondering how law would come in. Whould there be any? If so who would enforce it? And would there be any laws concerning the restriction of person A from comming in contact of person B.

Laws, initially, would serve to enforce the most basic needs of each city/government and the skill itself, would be used by Bureaucrats to represent players and npc's alike.

From there, there are many opportunities for law. Smile

Now there's a thought... a game with restraining orders.

It'd be interesting to see what you guys can think of to be an incentive for the non-Bureaucrat to train Law, if anything like that ever does come around. I think the basic thing would be to have quicker jail times or lower fees.. because you can assumedly speak to the judge a little bit, or correct any mistakes that your 'crat may have overlooked. Hm.

For 50K/day, I'll follow you around and kill them whenever they get within 50 feet.

I'm multi-talented like that.

And here i was thinking they'd wear some type of collar that if they got too close their heads would explode. But your idea is so much more humane and sweeter. Mr. Humane Society.

Exploding collars rule. We should all wear collars that would function as tracking devices (as I already suggested), but would also explode if you violated your restraining order. You'd have to be in the room with them for a long time, because you pass people all the time... it'd be really tough to never come across somebody. Technicians might eventually get enough skill to remove them or something, but there'd be serious punishments for being caught without your collar. We'd have people up in a central station watching everybody's movement and stuff, so we'd know when someone removed their collar. Very Orwellian. Well, maybe not Orwellian. Very... something.

Whoa. That all just came out from the fact that I thought the collars in Battle Royale were way cool. Sorry.
